Don spent his early years in the Midwest. Born June 1945 in Springfield, Illinois.He graduated from High School in 1963. Don left Illinois in the summer of 1963 to attend a Business School in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduation he worked for Western Union in New York City and Los Angeles, California. Don was drafted in 1966 and served in the United States Army. After his tour of duty in Viet Nam he returned to Los Angeles until being transferred to Portland, Oregon as the Operations Manager for Western Union. With the centralization of operations Don left Western Union to stay in the Great Northwest. He held various positions with several different companies always in a Management position. While working for Safeway he attended Portland Community College taking Business and Accounting classes. He earned his Bachelor and Master in Business Administration from California Coast University in 1976
Don has been a college instructor for various private colleges and presently is the Controller for a college in the Portland area.
Don has served in various positions with the Churches he has been associated with. He served as Teacher, Pastoral Council President and as Chair person on various Church Boards.
Don was ordained February 2008 and is on target to complete his Doctor in Ministry the summer of 2010 from Universal Life Seminary.
Don has three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grand child.
